Kellie Paxian is a travel content creator who is currently living a nomadic life fuelled by wanderlust and wifi. She is a freelance writer, editor, and digital content producer for various brands in the travel and tourism industry.

Experience

Kellie is the former editor of Daily Hive Mapped, a travel channel that she spearheaded in launching, including website design, videography, and social media strategy. She is the current editor of World Footprints, sharing meaningful travel stories from around the globe. As a freelancer, Kellie has contributed to publications such as Far & Wide, Hostelling International, Fodor's, and Adventure.com, and she is a regular travel spokesperson on City TV’s Breakfast Television.

Education

Originally planning on pursuing law, Kellie obtained a Bachelor of Arts, English Language degree at the University of British Columbia. Deciding she needed something with a little more zest, she then pursued a Marketing Communications diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, which led to an internship and four-year career in public relations. Now, her education comes from daily exposure to new environments and cultures around the world.
