Kansas City bachelors have a variety of places to go for their bachelor party before their wedding. From Westport to the Power and Light district, there are many entertainment venues to visit that can make any night a memorable one. Besides going out, there are also a few other options that can be perfect for bachelors looking to have a unique experience that almost everyone in their party can enjoy.

Cigar Shops and Bars

There are a few cigar bars and clubs throughout the metro. One example in Overland Park is the Outlaw Cigar Company, which is a cigar shop and club located at 137th and Metcalf. Their walls are lined with cigars of all types and their staff can help groups find out the perfect cigars that they’d all enjoy. Another cigar destination for later in the evening is Qudo’s Cigar and Cognac Bar in Kansas City at 1116 Grand Blvd., which offers massive screens that show sporting events and allow guest to enjoy their favorite liquor and cigar.

Westport

As mentioned above, Westport is a Kansas City bar district that is south of the Plaza and has something for everyone. From traditional pubs like O’Kellys to the more alternative locations like Buzzard Beach, this multi-block area offers large crowds and good drink specials. There are also a few hotels in the area that can offer a night’s rest after the bars close at 3:00 A.M.

Power and Light District

The Power & Light District in Downtown Kansas City is great for bachelor parties that are looking for a night that best represents Kansas City as a big city. The KC Live! block features a one-time cover charge, which then allows patrons to take their drinks from club to club, which all have entrances that face into the open area block.

Boulevard Brewery Tour

While reservations aren’t accepted, getting into one of the weekend tours at the Boulevard Brewery can be a great experience for a bachelor party. A tour guide will take you through the brewery and allow your group to sample all their current beers. Tickets are on a first come-first served basis, so larger groups may have a harder chance at getting in. You can also go to their tasting room or take an advanced tour.

Camping

For bachelor parties that are looking to get out of the city, there are several great campgrounds outside of the metro that can offer nature and a fun trip away that isn’t too expensive. Examples of area campgrounds include Longview Lake, Smithville Lake, Weston Bend State Park, and more. Some places allow for online reservations and offer campgrounds of all sizes.
