Experience

Katie Lockhart has been a full-time freelance travel and food writer since 2018. Before that, she was a digital producer for RuPaul's Drag Race and a copywriter for Viacom. Freelance writing was her "side hustle."

Then in 2018, she quit her job, sold all her belongings, and has been living out of a suitcase, traveling and writing ever since. She has been to over 60 countries and all seven continents. When she's not on the beaches of Asia you'll find her eating an entire pizza while binging Bravo or reading a crime thriller in one sitting.
