Kaitlyn McInnis

Kaitlyn McInnis is a freelance travel and lifestyle writer with bylines in Travel + Leisure, Tatler Asia, Robb Report Singapore, MAXIM, and other leading publications across the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Born and raised in Canada, she has been writing Canadian travel guides for TripSavvy for the past two years.

She is fluent in three languages and is currently studying Japanese.


Kaitlyn has visited every Canadian province but currently calls Montreal home. She has also lived in Toronto, Halifax, and St. John's. A travel writer by trade, she normally spends the majority of the year exploring different corners of the world and has traveled to 27 countries on five continents.

Prior to diving head first into travel writing, Kaitlyn served as the Managing Editor at AskMen, where she commuted between New York and Montreal while leading a team of writers and lifestyle experts across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. 


Kaitlyn graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelors of Art in English Literature and a Minor in Irish Studies. She also attended the Magazine Writing program at McGill University. She is fluent in three languages and is currently studying Japanese.
