DC Career Fair -April 5, 2017, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Arena Stage, 1101 Sixth St., SW Washington DC. Throughout the past four years, Arena Stage has partnered with nearly 100 participating organizations and served a combined total of more than 7,400 community members by hosting regular career fairs. More than 25 hiring organizations, in areas of employment including construction, retail, hospitality and leisure, law, transportation and facilities services, are confirmed to participate in this free event. Numerous community-based training and services providers have worked with job seekers in their individual pipelines to provide focused and personalized job training and professional development skills to create job-ready candidates. Applicants are being matched with specific employment requirements to accelerate the possibilities for onsite interviews and actual job offers.
This event is only open to those referred applicants who may pre-register for the event.
Job Zone Job Fairs - Multiple dates throughout the year. Job fairs are held in Anacostia, Annapolis, Fort Meade, Fort Myer, Navy Yard, Quantico, VA & MD National Guard, Andrews/Bolling AFB, Patuxent River NAS, and Fort Belvoir-Springfield areas.
Choice Career Fairs - 2017 Dates: March 30, June 7, August 24 and October 26, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. DoubleTree by Hilton, 300 Army Navy Dr. Arlington, VA. Job fairs are offered multiple times during the year. Participating employers change for each event.
National Career Fairs - 2017 Dates: April 25, June 29, August 31, October 10 and December 13. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. DoubleTree Crystal City, 300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA, . This company produces regular career fairs across the country bringing a wide range of job applicants and employers together.
2017 Washington, D.C., Journalism Job Fair - March 25, 2017, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, 640 Massachusetts Avenue NW Washington DC. This annual event brings together a diverse pool of local and national candidates of all experience levels. The job fair is organized by the Georgetown University Master's of Professional Studies in Journalism program and the Washington, D.C., chapters of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the Asian American Journalists Association, the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Washington Association of Black Journalists, and the Journalism & Women Symposium.
