As a longtime Lo s Angeles-based freelance journalist, Jenny Peters covers an array of topics including travel, entertainment, food, design, beauty, and more. Her favorite beats almost always involve seeing exotic places, visiting big cities, attending music festivals, exploring a new wine region, or scuba diving near pristine coral reefs. She splits her time between Los Angeles and New Orleans.

Jenny began her collegiate experience at the University of Maryland, where she also played Division 1 women's indoor volleyball for two years. When she moved to New York after her sophomore year, she finished her Bachelor of Arts at Pace University, studying Literature and Communications and graduating summa cum laude.
