Jennifer Hudson

  • Jennifer is a U.K.-based writer who has been covering travel for digital and print publications for the past three years.
  • She first got the travel writing bug during a two-year trip to India, Nepal, and Central Asia.
  • Before becoming a travel writer, she worked in communications for several NGOs and as a documentary researcher and director for the BBC in London.

Jennifer is a U.K.-born freelance writer whose work has been published in Trip Savvy, Fodor's Travel, Guardian Travel, the London Evening Standard, and Culture Trip. She divides her time between the U.K. and other destinations. Her love of travel has taken her through India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka solo. She also loves the U.K. coastline. When not working, she can be found swimming, surfing, and hiking. Her dream destination is anywhere off-grid where she can hear the sound of crashing waves. She has been writing for Trip Savvy since 2019.

Jennifer holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Sheffield and a Masters degree in Global Ethics and Human Values from King's College London.
