Experience

Jane McLean is a former writer for TripSavvy, contributing articles about Canada for more than 10 years. The Canadian native and self-proclaimed "hoser," lives in Dundas, Ontario. After many years in corporate communications, McLean taught language studies at Mohawk College. She has also taught English as a second language overseas and in Canada.

McLean lived and traveled in Asia for several years in the late 1990s but is now firmly replanted in Canada with her husband and daughters. When not exploring the English language, she enjoys discovering Canada's endless and delightful nooks and crannies.

Her writing has appeared in publications including the Hamilton Spectator, TheStar.com, and What's Up Kids. McLean has also had two radio documentaries broadcast on CBC Radio

Education

Jane McLean received an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Art History from McMaster University. She also completed studies in Teaching English as a Second Language.
