Italian food is a favorite comfort food. Whether it be baked pastas like ravioli or fettuccine or traditional pastas like ziti and spaghetti, it's hard to find anyone who doesn't like pasta (though, more and more people are going low carb or gluten-free). Traditional Italian food isn't all pasta and carbs. Italian food also usually offers fresh seafood, light vegetable dishes, and flavorful antipasti.
Little Rock doesn't have as many great Italian restaurants as it once did. Old favorites like the Italian Couple and the Villa have come and gone, but we still have a few really good places to feed your Italian food hunger. We even have a few good chains in Little Rock now.
This is real Italian food, not pizza. Little Rock has many pizza joints. So many, in fact, they need their own list.
Bruno's has been a local favorite since the 1940s. They have changed locations and there was a period of time when they were completely closed, but their new downtown location is stellar. It has a casually elegant atmosphere that is perfect for family dinners or business gatherings. Their food is outstanding and the service is great. Prices are mid-range.

Cafe Prego has a great staff, a casual atmosphere that will work for business lunches or romantic nights out and a simple menu. It's a great place for a quick Italian lunch in the Heights.
This is a chain, but it's actually very good Italian food. The menu is moderately priced. They have traditional favorites and a decent pizza. Excellent dessert menu.

Graffiti's is an Italian restaurant with a fun atmosphere and great food. The menu is always changing with daily specials and has been called "trendy" because it always has something new and unique. Prices are mid-rang) and dress is casual/business casual.
Ristorante Capeo serves fine Italian food with fresh ingredients in a romantic and elegant atmosphere. The menu is a bit pricey but comparable to some chain Italian restaurants in the area. The quality far exceeds the chains.
Ciao serves classic Italian favorites in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a popular lunch spot, and the prices are very reasonable. The food is no disappointment. It's an awesome choice for dining before you head to the Rep for a show.
Zaffino's Grapevine Cafe
Zaffino's is a Sherwood favorite, but it's good enough to make the drive from Little Rock. Nice, romantic atmosphere but also family friendly. They have classic Italian dishes. They serve some more Mediterranean things but the menu is mostly classic Italian dishes.
