There aren't a heckuva lot of theme parks and water parks in Iowa. But there are a couple of decent amusement parks with roller coasters and a few outdoor water parks as well as indoor water park resorts.
There used to be a few more in the state, including Dodge Park Playland, which operated from 1948 to 1970 in Council Bluffs and included a Wild Mouse coaster and a wooden coaster. It also included a race track, which closed in 1977.
