Christmas Around the World
Gaylord National Resort’s ICE! is a special holiday attraction created entirely of 5,000 BLOCKS of ice, hand-sculpted by 40 international artisans and kept at a chilling nine degrees Fahrenheit. It's an interactive winter wonderland. The theme for the 2016 event is Christmas Around the World showcasing holiday traditions from Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico and more.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
For 2015, the theme of Gaylord National Resort's ICE! was Santa Claus is Coming to Town celebrated the 45th anniversary of the classic television special with scenes including Burgermeister outlawing toys in Sombertown, Winter Warlock’s heart melting and Kris Kringle becoming Santa Claus. The annual holiday display at National Harbor is a seasonal favorite in the capital region.Continue to 4 of 25 below.

In the television classic Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Kris Kringle wanted to deliver toys to the children of Sombertown. But its Burgermeister is too mean to let that happen.

Winter Warlock and Kris Kringle

Frosty the Snowman
In 2014, the theme was Frosty the Snowman featuring favorite scenes of the magical TV special including: Frosty coming to life; marching through the Town Square; taking a train to the North Pole; and Santa coming to the rescue to make “melted Frosty” whole again – all hand-carved in life-size ice sculptures.Continue to 8 of 25 below.

Magician - Professor Hinkle
The magician - Professor Hinkle appears in ICE! at the Gaylord National Resort. The villainous character wants Frosty the Snowman to melt so he can regain his students attention.Continue to 9 of 25 below.
