    The Montrose Management District, Saint Arnold Brewery and Free Press Houston present the 5th Annual Montrose Crawl this Halloween weekend. Traverse the strip of bars, clubs and restaurants between Dunlavy and Montrose donning your most clever halloween get-up. The evening will kick off with a dinner at Cafe Brasil. From there, the group will hit Poison Girl, Anvil, Boondocks, Catbirds and any other watering hole along the path to Montrose and Westheimer.

    No tickets or cover necessary for this event and crawlers can take advantage of drink specials throughout the night. Each stop on the tour is another chance to win a costume contest so be sure to gussy up.

    Halloween Erotica Ball

    When: Saturday, October 29, 2011 8 pm to 2 pm
    Where: The Ritz Plaza

    DesirousParty will host the sultry Carnival-themed Erotica Ball. This adult event is only open to couples and single ladies and guest must purchase tickets to attend. Party-goers can expect pulsating tunes from DJ O and DJ Seismic, several dance floors complete with laser lighting and smoke, all-night shot specials, ghoulish decorations provided by Spookers Halloween Warehouse and of course, ladies dressed as French maids and dirty cops.

    As with any proper Halloween party, there will be a costume party paying out up to $1,000. Discounted pre-sale tickets are $40 per couple, $10 for single ladies. Sorry single men, you'll need to nab a date before hand for this one.

    Houston Museum of Natural Science, the geniuses behind Mixers and Elixirs, are working their magic this Halloween with Spirits and Skeletons!. From 8 pm to midnight on Friday, October 28, the same museum floors walked by thousands of third grade field trippers will be transformed into a grown-up party with a DJ, sweet treats, adult beverages concocted by the resident "Bug Chef" and a magician.

    Movies at Miller: The Wolfman

    Movies at Miller has become a summer staple for Houston families. The Friday night outdoor film screenings typically feature kid-friendly films like Back to the Future and E.T. But this Halloween's installment is the haunting Lon Chaney Classic, The Wolfman. As always, this Miller Outdoor Theater event is free. Lawn seating will be available.

    Big Ass Halloween Bash

    The annual (23rd annual to be exact) Big Ass Halloween Bash was birthed as a party hosted by two guys in their College Station apartment. As it grew in popularity, it made moves to a Galveston beach house, the Hot Dog Place, Paul's Banquet Hall and now calls the BUS home. This year, expect 25 kegs, 40 gallons of "witches brew" and free soft drinks for designated drivers. And be sure to slam down one or two of Gary's Famous Flamin' Jello Shots.

    Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive in costume. Prizes will be awarded for best male, female, couple or duo and group costumes.

    Alamo Drafthouse Horror Remix

    A Horror Remix is a mash-up of the goriest, nakedest, most violent scenes from classic horror films with music, extras and puppet cameos. This month, the Alamo Drafthouse will present Horror Remix: HELATH CARE, a two-hour journey through 3 equally absurd medical horror films; Visiting Hours, Hospital Massacre and the Last Slumber Party. Admission is free.
