Hershey Lodge is a popular spot for families, with over 600 chocolate-themed guest rooms and suites.
The Lodge is part of Hershey PA, a major family destination in Pennsylvania. Hershey is an actual town -- aka "Chocolatetown USA"-- built by chocolate tycoon Milton Hershey for his employees. He also built an amusement park, which today is Hersheypark, the biggest of several family attractions in Hershey PA.
Guests have two Hershey choices for lodging: the classic-style Hotel Hershey, with kids' club and chocolate-themed spa; and Hershey Lodge.
A prominent and welcoming feature of the lobby at Hershey Lodge is a massive stone fireplace, which actually has four sides, all with a hearth.
Above: just one part of the Hershey Lodge's big lobby, which has many couches and a kids-welcome atmosphere.
The outdoor pool is, of course, open seasonally.
Other fun features at Hershey Lodge include:
- game arcade with some cool machines
- complimentary family activities such as Bingo and other games
- seasonal fun such as Breakfast with Santa
What's this, above-- a game room? Think again: this is a restaurant, designed for maximum fun for kids. The Bears Den is named for the hockey team, the Hershey Bears.
