Taking Off at the Hamilton International Airport
Hamilton Airport (airport code: YHM), officially named John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, is actually located in Mount Hope - just on the outskirts of Hamilton, Ontario. Hamilton is conveniently located for visitors to the region who would like to visit Niagara Falls and/or Toronto as it is about equal distance to both places.

Why Would You Fly in or out of Hamilton Airport?
Hamilton is located between Niagara Falls (or Niagara-on-the-Lake) and Toronto and only about 20 minutes from wine country.
Airfares to Hamilton may be cheaper than to Toronto's Pearson International Airport. (Of course, your ability to land at Hamilton depends on where you're coming from or what airline you're flying). In addition, parking is cheaper at Hamilton Airport.
Another advantage of flying into Hamilton is that its airport is smaller and easier to get around - everything from customs and getting your luggage to renting a car will be faster.
Hamilton Airport also offers easy highway access directly across the street. From Hamilton, you're an hour's drive from Toronto and a little more than that from Niagara Falls and Buffalo.
