Pumpkin Patches in the Reno / Sparks Area
Buy a pumpkin, ride a pony, catch a greased pig -- or check out the huge Child's Garden bounce house / sliding structure, Caterpillar Crawl, a petting zoo, pony rides, train ride, hay fort, mini ATVs, haunted house, and lots more.
Toll House Pumpkin Patch is a serious day out, and while it's not super cheap it can be a lot of fun. Later in the year, you can return to buy a Christmas Tree! Open through October 31, 2014. Ferrari Farms puts on a terrific Halloween event. There is a corn maze, bounce house, farm animals, hay rides, pumpkin patch, a train ride, and pumpkins and squash for sale. You can also go out in the field and pick your own pumpkin. This Pumpkin Patch includes a large themed Corn Maze as well as a Haunted Corn Maze (not for the faint of heart!), horse and pony rides, a petting zoo, and lots of activities for kids like an art barn, spider web climbing structure, hay bale maze, and little garden play area.

The Sparks United Methodist Church holds an annual Harvest Festival and Craft Fair each October. This one-weekend event is located in the church parking lot at the corner of Pyramid Way and Oddie Boulevard in Sparks. In past years, the event has featured 45 booths with local artisans and crafters. Items available will include holiday gifts, jewelry, soaps and lotions, woodworking, hand made baskets, gourds, quilts, hand sewn items and much more.
In addition to the craft fair, the Pumpkin Patch Festival features premium pumpkins for sale, an indoor food court and children's activities. The big attraction at Lattin Farms is a huge corn maze that has a different theme each year.
