Toward the end of October, Seattle puts on its creepy best. Halloween parties and events bring out costume contests, special cocktails and more at Seattle’s nightclubs, venues, taverns and restaurants. Parties include both family-friendly affairs and adult-only evenings, both mild and wild events, and a little something for everyone. If Halloween is your kind of holiday, put on your best disguise and go forth to find your kind of fun.
A great number of Seattle’s biggest and best Halloween happenings are 21+ only and go down at nightclubs, many of which are in Capitol Hill and Pioneer Square, but definitely don’t limit yourself to these areas. Parties in past years have included masquerade balls at EMP and an all-ages, alcohol-free party complete with a drag show and dancing for Nightmare on Capitol Hill.
Alternatively, if you're looking for other things to do in October, there are many. Corn mazes and pumpkin patches show up at area farms, haunted houses are ready to scare both young and old (and some are pretty intense), join up with one of the area ghost tours, or you can go more traditional with some trick or treating.
