Shhh. Don't tell anyone. The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company is actually a tutoring center for kids, disguised year-round as a superhero store, which is pretty great. They sell hilarious and fun stuff too, all while never for a second dropping the facade that it's all superhero merchandise. Halloween enthusiasts come here to buy capes, secret identities, gear, robotics/cybernetics/mutations, lairs, and invisibles.
You also get to create your own costume at Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company with X-ray goggles and fake mustaches. Or repel your enemies with a photon shooter—all for a good cause. Proceeds go to the 826NYC kids' writing center.
