Gretchen Holm

  • A fifth-generation native of East Bay
  • Professional freelance writer since 2007

Gretchen Holm is a former writer for TripSavvy, creating content for two years. As a fifth-generation East Bay native, Gretchen is intimately familiar with the local culture. She has experienced Oakland as a dancer, foodie, musician, and history lover.

As a freelance writer since 2007, she has written on an array of subjects, including travel and food. Her nearly two years of employment at San Francisco's best gourmet pizza restaurant is reflected in her restaurant reviews.

Gretchen Holm has a B.A. in English language and literature from UC Berkeley. She won the H.W. Hill Prize for excellence in her field of study.
