Exploring Greenwich Village and the West Village offers visitors to New York City a taste of "real-life" in the big city -- though the main drags of this neighborhood can be very commercial, getting lost wandering along the quiet streets is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon (or a whole day!).
Getting There
Greenwich Village is most easily accessible by the A/C/E and B/D/F/V subway trains to West 4th and the 1 train to Christopher Street/Sheridan Square or Houston Street.
