2015 Good Morning America Concert Series Schedule

On Friday mornings from late May through August, Good Morning America hosts live performances at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. Access to the concerts is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows. Note: some events are ticketed. See calendar for details.

If you want to attend the concerts you are encouraged to arrive at Central Park when it opens to the public at 6 a.m. You can enter Central Park at 69th Street/5th Avenue.

The closest subway to Rumsey Playfield in Central Park is the 6 at 68th Street/Lexington.

The performances run from 7-9 a.m., and there are typically 3-4 songs performed during this time.

Tips:

  • If you want to get a good spot, you should arrive at Central Park at 6 a.m. depending on the popularity of the act and the weather.
  • If there is space available, they sometimes allow entry up until the performance begins at 8:30 a.m.

Things to Bring:

  • Plenty of water (don't get dehydrated!)
  • Bring your camera -- photos make a great souvenir from seeing a performance in Central Park
  • Comfortable shoes -- you'll be standing for quite a while
  • Some friends or a book to read -- there's lots of waiting
