Gold Rush Water Park at Double JJ Resort

Indoor Water Park in Michigan

Gold Rush water park at Double JJ Resort
Double JJ Resort

The Gold Rush indoor water park at the Double JJ Resort is medium sized compared to other parks. It boasts Old West themeing and features the Miner's Plunge bowl ride, the Thunder Canyon family raft ride, a lazy river, some decent body and tube slides, and a wave pool. Like most water parks, it also offers an interactive play center with small slides and a tipping bucket.

It lacks the major marquee attractions such as a water coaster or a funnel ride found at larger indoor water parks such as the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells, but with its mix of slides and attractions, including some that are mildly thrilling, the Gold Rush water park should provide enough fun to satisfy kids of most ages. The hot tubs, one of which is both outdoors and indoors, should also keep adults happy who are looking for some relaxation. There is an adjacent arcade with redemption games.

The Double JJ Resort includes a number of accommodations including suites, condos, studio rooms, and cabins. In addition to the indoor water park, the resort offers many recreational activities including horseback riding, golf, snow tubing, snowmobiling, bicycle rentals, a dinner theater, and outdoor swimming. There is also a conference center.
