GOGO Worldwide Vacations is one of the leading travel wholesalers in the US.

The company specializes in vacations, cruises, resorts, hotels and tours, As a wholesaler, it sells exclusively through travel agents. It doesn't sell directly to the public. 

In business for more than six decades, the company has more than 40 local offices in 26 states. They work with more than 8,000 travel agents domestically. Their reputation is one of strong partnership with the agents that sell their product. Innovative training, commission, sales and marketing tools are a company hallmark.    

GOGO was acquired by Australian-based Flight Centre Limited in 2008. The move created one of the world's most extensive product distribution networks. But the company's committment to travel agents hasn't wavered. In fact, GOGO continually rolls out programs to help agents improve their knowledge of the product, and increase sales. 

That's because the company's business model sticks to a basic tenet.

They see the travel agent as an expert consultant who's the most influential person in the vacation sale process. To encourage agents to sell its products, GOGO provides agents state of the art research, marketing and booking tools; access to which is available through a special Agent Travel Center Website. GOGO's consumer Website is itself a well-designed marketing tool. It offers information about destinations, cruises, tours, resorts and special bargains; but no booking engine. Instead, it provides a travel agent locator.

Moreover, every page of the GOGO Worldwide Vacations' consumer Website bears a facsimile stamp mark saying "Only At Your Travel Agent." Support for its agents includes a 24 hour telephone hot line, company business development managers who help the Travel Agent Partners grow their businesses, and an extensive social media presence. 

Agent Support

GOGO agent support comes in a number of different forms. Co-op advertising programs offer agents help in reaching targeted local markets. Annual GOGO Learning Conferences and Worldwide Showcases (held throughout the country) provide the relevant and up-to-date products and information. 

The "Travel Agents First" program is the centerpiece of the GOGO support system. 

The three-tiered system offers increasing benefits for each level: Booking Agent, Partner Agent and Partner Elite Agent.

Travel Agent First includes educational sessions, operational tools, familiarization trips, domestic and international learning conferences and marketing fulfillment services. Programs and incentives include “Ready, Set, Go!” monthly promotions, offering commission bonuses of up to 5%.

Booking Engine

Few tools are as important for travel agents as a booking engine. They can streamline the tasks involved in managing sales, payments and fulfillment. The GOGO booking engine is specifically designed to simplify the reservation process, and it's earned high marks from agents. 

The booking engine is fully optimized for tablets, desktops and extended desktop views. 

In addition to displaying a number of advance search terms, the GOGO booking engine eliminates one of the biggest agent pet peeves. That is, the need to start from scratch upon modification. Agents can filter the search with a number of different options. A range of air and car rental options appear on the booking screens. And there's also an insurance booking function built in to each reservation.
