    The Georgetown Garden Tour is an annual self-guided tour of eight private gardens, sponsored by the Georgetown Garden Club. This event is a great way to explore the residential streets of one of Washington DC's most famous neighborhoods. The tour includes an afternoon tea.

    Georgetown has some amazing properties and different homes are featured each year. Enjoy the following photos and get a glimpse of the Garden Tour from previous years.

    Bowie-Sevier House - Georgetown Mansion

    The Bowie-Sevier House was built around 1800 by Washington Bowie, the godson of George Washington. It is now owned by media entrepreneur Robert Allbritton. The 12-bedroom house sits on two beautifully landscaped acres of land in the heart of Georgetown. The gardens were open to the public for the 2012 Georgetown Garden Tour.
