Fans of the legendary Disney Gay Days Orlando, held in and around Walt Disney World and the city of Orlando in early June each year, have also become big fans of the second major GLBT event produced by the same organizers, Gay Days Las Vegas, which has traditionally taken place in early September. However, organizers have announced that Gay Days Las Vegas is on hiatus in 2016, although they're looking for ways to bring it back in the future.
This week-long celebration is in the format of Gay Days Orlando and includes pool parties, trips out to shop and see shows, tours around the city, clubbing, and a GLBT travel-retail expo.
Note that although Vegas Gay Pride used to take place around this time, in 2016 the event was moved to late October - here are the details on Las Vegas Pride 2016.
Las Vegas has some of the country's largest gay discos and dance clubs. Check local gay papers and websites, such as Q Vegas for details on where to go.
