The Summer Concert Series has become a summer tradition in Downtown Frederick, Maryland featuring musical performances in a variety of genres and styles. The concerts appeal to audiences of all ages and are held every Sunday evening at 7 p.m. throughout the summer in the Baker Park Band Shell. Performances are free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to benefit the Frederick Food Bank.

Parking: Street parking is limited near Baker Park, but nearby parking is located within a short walk at West Patrick Street Deck: 138 West Patrick Street, Court Street Parking Deck: 2 South Court Street, Church Street Parking Deck: 17 East Church Street, and Carroll Creek Parking Deck: 44 East Patrick Street. Parking is just $1.00 in the decks on Sundays after 2 p.m. Handicap parking can be found on the southside of W. Second Street along the Talley Recreation Center.

JUNE 11 - Mary Ann Redmond Band, Soulful Rock. Redmond is known for her wide- ranging, soulful vocal style in popular and jazz music. She is recognized in the music industry working with many national performers such as Mary Chapin Carpenter.
JUNE 18 - Abbey Road LIVE!, Beatles Tribute Band. Abbey Road LIVE! is made up of four all-star musicians from the infamous Athens GA music scene that gave the world R.E.M., Widespread Panic, and B-52s. The band specializes in start to finish album performances, but they’re not an ordinary, look-alike tribute band.
JUNE 25 - The Reggie Wayne Morris Band, Boogie Woogie Rhythm & Rocking Blues. Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Reggie Wayne Morris plays his Blues with infectious passion, charm and humor. Based in Baltimore, MD, Reggie Wayne Morris prides himself in being a contemporary guitarist with a Uptempo Rock-Edged Style developed from listening to Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King and fusing their influences with his own unique approach to create his "Boogie Woogie Rhythm & Rockin' Blues".

JULY 9 - Doug Segree Band, Rock. Hailing from Annapolis, MD, Doug Segree and his band have been playing clubs and events up and down the East Coast and throughout the country for over 15 years. With a huge playlist to draw from (Top 40, Classic Rock, Funk, Motown, 80’s, etc.) and multiple lead singers, the band really likes to mix it up and play to their audience.
JULY 16 - Mountain Ride, Newgrass. Mountain Ride is a Pennsylvania bluegrass band fancying both progressive and traditional facets. For these five friends, bluegrass is a necessity. Hailing from the newgeneration of bluegrassers, they tend to bring a unique flair to the traditional, and a progressive twist to the original.
JULY 23 - Crowded Streets- The Dave Matthews Band Experience, Dave Matthews Band Tribute.With a sound as maneuverable as theirs, shifting easily from Celtic to jazz to folk-rock to acoustic funk, recreating the experience of a Dave Matthews Band concert would seem daunting to most. Crowded Streets excels at this feat, bringing world-class musicians from the same landscapes that spawned the original quintet.
July 30 - Delta Spur, Modern Country. Delta Spur is DC/MD/VA's hottest country band, performing Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Zac Brown, Keith Urban, as well as other country favorites. A Delta Spur show isan energetic performance of fresh, modern country music; mixing the fun and excitement of a party band with country songs you want to hear.
AUGUST 6 - Boilermaker Jazz Band, Swing/Jazz. The hot sounds of the jazz age come alive with the Boilermaker Jazz Band! Led by Paul Cosentino on clarinet, this acclaimed group serves up swinging renditions of jazz classics and rarities through superb instrumentals and heartfelt vocals.
AUGUST 13 - Black Masala, Gypsy Punk Brass Band. Performing hundreds of shows a year has helped Washington, DC's gypsy punk brass band hone their sound, while injecting it with a healthy dose of funk, soul and eclectic grooves.
AUGUST 20 - The “Original” Moonlighters, Motown/Soul. Averaging over one hundred appearances per year, they offer affordable quality, specializing in weddings, private parties, festivals, concerts and corporate events with an emphasis on strong, soulful vocals and solid instrumentation.
AUGUST 27 - Scott Ambush (of Spyro Gyra) and the Funkalociraptor, Jazz/Rock/Funk Music. Five time Grammy® award nominated bassist and Frederick Native, Scott Ambush returns with his signature blend of multi genre influenced Jazz: this time in a new guise...Funkalociraptor! Blending daring improvisation, funky rhythms, and driving rock sensibilities, with Funkalociraptor!, Scott reimagines familiar tunes and crafts original compositions with ingenuity, and humor.
