    Satriale's (the Pork Store)

    This building in Kearny, NJ is owned by HBO - it is a fully dressed set, as featured in The Sopranos. The pig is only placed on the roof when they are shooting, due to theft.

    In the pilot episode of The Sopranos, the pork store scenes were shot at Centanni's in Elizabeth, New Jersey. For subsequent episodes, location scouts found this former auto parts store that is transformed for filming into the exterior of Satriale's. HBO holds the lease on this formerly abandoned building located at 101 Kearny Avenue in Kearny, New Jersey.

    The Soprano family's Catholic Church where Father Phil is a priest. This photograph was shot outside of the church used for filming scenes with Father Phil. Father Phil is best known for loving Carmela Soprano's ziti and for the night they spent together drinking too much cianti. Rumor has it that the upcoming season will include Tony Soprano directing jokes to Carmela about pedophilia in the Catholic Church.

    This corner building down the street from the shooting location of Satriele's has been used as an apartment building in The Sopranos. Shooting locations are often chosen because they are close to one another, on corner locations, and have lots of available parking -- this building fits all three requirements.

    In episode 8 of the first season, Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli) replicates a Goodfellas scene by shooting a baker in the foot. Joe's Bake Shop is located on Ridge Road, at the corner of Juancey Street in North Arlington, New Jersey.

    In the "Full Leather Jacket" episode (#21) Christopher Moltisanti (played by Michael Imperioli) was shot in front of the Skyway Diner, seen here. His shooters, Matt Bevilaqua, and Sean Gismonte, both now sleep with the fishes. This diner is popular for filming and it's the central location for Uma Thurman's movie, Hysterical Blindness.

    After getting caught for selling heroin, Federal agents were able to plea bargain with Salvatore 'Big Pussy' Bonpensiero, to get him to wear a wire in order to build State's evidence against Tony Soprano. Pictured above is the lot where Big Pussy would meet with the Feds.

    Satin Dolls is the real name of the club used for scenes that take place at the Bada Bing strip club in The Sopranos. Satin Dolls is a gentleman's club located in Lodi, New Jersey on Route 17. Some of the girls that dance at the club are the same girls that are in The Sopranos.

    This is the rear of the Bada Bing, where Ralph Cifaretto (Joe Pantoliano) beat up and murdered the Tracee, one of the girls from the Bada Bing, who was pregnant with his baby. One faux pax on the show: in New Jersey, dancers are not allowed to be topless where alcohol is served.
