Fête des Neiges is French for "festival of snow," a rather fitting designation for a Montreal event held annually in January and February on the grounds of Parc Jean-Drapeau.

A family-friendly favorite attracting both locals and visitors in town, Fête des Neiges activities run the gamut of winter sports, including everything from ice skating to inner tubing to snowshoeing. Inflatable games, ziplining, live acrobatic performances and other surprises are par for the course, one typically lined with ice and snow sculptures. The following photo gallery gives a basic idea of what to expect.
