Hawaiian Music Series Concerts in Lahaina
Held the last Thursday in each month from 6-7:30 p.m., you can relax under the shade trees of the Baldwin Home Museum lawn at corner of Front & Dickenson Streets in Lahaina for a free Hawaiian music concert. Enjoy the sweet island sounds of up-and-coming musicians who sing traditional and popular tunes, play ukulele, slack key and contemporary guitar.
A limited number of chairs are provided; mats, blankets or low beach chairs are welcome. Due to the holidays, the November concert will be held on November 19 and the December concert on December 24, 2015.

Second Friday in Lahaina
LahainaTown Action Committee in partnership with Lahaina restaurants work together to sponsor several west side nonprofits for children. This assistance allows the nonprofits to fundraise and the event supports our community. Campbell Park comes alive with local ono grinds, baked goods, and desserts from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The LahainaTown Action Committee invites you to share in the fun while enjoying a live music concert with a cause.

Maui ‘Ukulele Festival
From 1:00-6:00 p.m., this annual festival is a full afternoon of ‘ukulele music at the first-class venue, the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Bring your lawn chairs or roll out a blanket on the lawn and enjoy some of the islands’ favorite ‘ukulele players.
Since 2006, the Maui Ukulele Festival has featured Herb Ohta Sr. (Ohta-San), Jake Shimabukuro, Holunape, Raiatea Helm, Manoa DNA, Paula Fuga, Richard Ho'opi'i, Brittni Paiva, Kelly Boy Delima, Derek Sebastian and more.

Lahaina Plantation Days
From 5:00-10:30 p.m. you can celebrate West Maui’s fond memories of the sugar and pineapple plantations' camp life during this community festival at Pioneer Mill Smokestack & Locomotives site on Lahainaluna Road.

XTERRA Kapalua Trail Run – 5/10km
Friends and family can experience the famous world championship XTERRA run course featuring an off-road thriller on a trail winding through Maui’s forests, dodging cacti, and past stunning oceanfront scenery. Please park in the XTERRA event lot by D.T. Fleming Beach.

XTERRA World Championship Off-Road Triathlon
The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, Maui hosts the XTERRA World Championship race which is the last in a series of nearly 100 off-road triathlon races held in 16 countries and 30+ U.S. States. The concept is to provide a bona-fide off-road world championship for amateur and pro athletes. The event features a capacity field of 800 athletes from 28 countries and 42 U.S. states including professionals and amateurs. For pros there is $105,000 in prize money at stake. The world’s premier off-road triathlon, combining a 1.5-kilometer (1-mile) rough water swim, a 32-kilometer (20-miles) mountain bike and a 10.5-kilometer (6.5 miles) trail run best described as a tropical roller-coaster ride through pineapple fields and forests. For parking follow the signs past the main Kapalua entrance and take your next left.

Halloween in Lahaina
The main street of Lahaina is turned into the biggest Halloween celebration in the Pacific. It all begins with a keiki (children’s parade) and concludes with an adult costume contest. Live entertainment.

Restaurant Week Wailea
Wailea Resort has set dates for the popular dinner promotion, "Restaurant Week Wailea." This celebration of Wailea's finest cuisine takes place at 17 participating resort restaurants throughout Wailea Resort, May 24-30. Chefs will once again create remarkable three-course, pre-fixe menus for just $29, $39 and $49 per person. (Depending on the restaurant - beverages, tax and gratuity are not included.) Participating restaurants partner with the Maui Food Bank for this bi-annual event and proceeds from the special menus are donated to the organization.

Hula O Na Keiki
The 26th annual Hula O Na Keiki will take place at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Hula O Na Keiki is a children's solo hula competition in which children from ages 5 years old to 17 years old will compete in their categories for the coveted awards and titles. A Festival of Hawaiian Arts will be featured throughout the competition weekend. Artisans from all over the state will be prominently stationed throughout the courtyard sharing their fine works of jewelry, clothing, Hawaiian implements, and accessories.

Maui Jim Maui Invitational
Hosted by Chaminade University of Honolulu, the Maui Jim Maui Invitational is considered the best early-season college basketball tournament with the nation’s top ranked programs competing in front of a jam-packed crowd at the Lahaina Civic Center. In addition to Chaminade University, this year's other teams will feature the University of Connecticut, Georgetown, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
