Father's Day is June 16, 2013. Want to make your dad feel special? Check out these father-friendly events and ideas going on all around town.

Father's Day Zoo Snooze

Take Dad on an overnight adventure at the Memphis Zoo. Dads and their kids will take a moonlight safari through the zoo, learn about animal fatherhood, and play fun games. The Snooze starts on June 14 at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $65 per person (non-members).

Chicago in Concert: If your dad is a classic rock fan, bring him down to the Memphis Botanic Gardens to see Earth, Wind, and Fire live in concert on June 15th. Tickets are $45 and gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Father's Day Fishing Rodeo

Take Dad down to Freedom Lake in Millington for an afternoon of fishing. Participants must have a fishing license and must pre-register for the event by June 7th. Cost is $10 per person.

Brunch at the Peabody Hotel

Treat your dad to a special feast at the Peabody. Brunch is served from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and champagne is available after 12:00 p.m. The Father's Day Brunch is $37.00 for adults and $12.00 for children ages 5-12. Prices do not include tax and gratuity. Call 901-529-3668 for reservations.

Poker

Poker playing dads will be thrilled with a trip down to Tunica to try their luck at the casinos. Some of the casinos even have special Father's Day promotions going on all weekend long.

Barbecue Dinner

Dads love barbecue so why not treat your father to some authentic Memphis-style ribs or pulled pork? With so many restaurants to choose from in the Memphis area, you won't have any trouble finding the perfect barbecue for Dad.

Play Golf

Does your dad play golf? Spend the day on the green with him on one of Memphis' eight public golf courses.
