Freshen up your routine with some fresh produce from farmers markets in Denver. Most markets are held throughout the summer, with fruit and vegetables varying by season. If possible, stock up on famous Colorado peaches while you can from July through September.

    The Cherry Creek Fresh Market takes place from May 2 - October 31, 2015, in the parking lot of Bed, Bath & Beyond at the intersection of N. Cherry Creek Dr. and University Ave. The market features fresh fruit, flowers, and veggies, as well as homemade goodies such as muffins and crepes.

    The Old South Pearl Street Farmers Market takes place from May 17 - November 15, 2015, along several blocks near the intersection of South Pearl Street and Iowa Avenue. Don't miss special events such a chili cook-off on October 11. The last Sunday of every month also features an upscale version of a flea market.

    Denver Urban Homesteading is the city's only indoor farmers market, and is open the entire year at 200 Santa Fe Dr. Farmers will ply their wares at the market from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and products are also on sale on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Besides offering shelter in bad weather, another advantage of the indoor market is that the vendors take credit cards.
    Times: Tuesdays and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
