Can A Family Have Fun In Las Vegas?

Things To Do For The Entire Family In Las Vegas

If you are currently thinking about taking the kids to Las Vegas and you are having second thoughts let me be the person to tell you that your kids can have a very good time on the Las Vegas strip. We can agree that the city is set up for adults. We can also agree that there are a lot of good deals in this town. So, with that in mind realize that you can have a family vacation that will cost you less as long as you understand that you'll have to shield the kids from a few things. (don't worry, I have two boys and there is not much on the Las Vegas strip that they are not already capable of finding on their own with their phones or tablets)

The kids can still have fun in Las Vegas and there is plenty that you as an adult can do with them. From museums to thrill rides, Las Vegas is still a good choice for a family vacation.

Your kids will have a blast with these suggestions and they have all been tested by my two boys who have sacrificed parts of numerous spring breaks and summer vacations to ride the rollercoasters, see the shows and experience everything just so that you can find the right thing for your children in Las Vegas.

I am a big fan of scaring my teenage boy in order to make sure he stays grounded. That is why you should take your teen to Stratosphere Tower and have them experience the thrill rides high above the Las Vegas strip. Teenagers can have a lot of fun in Las Vegas

With 1.6 million gallons of seawater, they have the space to hold a good deal of sharks. These won't be after your money either like those at the card tables.

Adventuredome at Circus Circus is a fun way to spend a day and it is relatively inexpensive as well. The large climate controlled park has rides for the young kids and the teenagers alike.

    Springs Preserve

My kids easily spend an hour at the play area and then another hour in the gardens, that does not include visits to the ORIGEN center or the various interactive exhibits. The preserve is 15 minutes from your strip hotel room and worth a visit.

    Red Rock Canyon

Hike, explore, run, race and get dirty in Red Rock Canyon a quick 20-minute drive from the Las Vegas strip. Kids will love climbing the sandstone rocks and the alternative to the make-believe of Las Vegas is easily accessible in the natural beauty of Red Rock Canyon.
