Family Flicks Movie Nights at Grant's Farm

Grant's Farm is always a popular destination in St. Louis in the summer.  This year, there's a new reason to make a visit during the month of June. Grant's Farm is hosting Family Flicks Nights, an outdoor movie experience with food, drinks and popular kid-friendly films.

When and Where:

Family Flicks Nights are held on Friday evenings in June. In 2015, the event runs June 5, June 12, June 19 and June 26. The movies are shown at the Bauernhof in the middle of the park. The park will reopen for evening admission at 6 p.m., and the movies will begin around 8 p.m. In addition to the movies, children can ride the carousel and everyone can see the animals in the Tier Garten.

Admission and Tickets:

General admission is $5 a person. VIP tickets are $10 a person and include a hotdog, chips, popcorn and a drink. Complimentary beer is also available for those 21 and older. No outside food can be brought in. Parking and admission for children younger than two are free. Tickets can be purchased online.

More About Grant's Farm:

Grant's Farm is one of the top seasonal attractions in the St. Louis area. The 281 acre farm is located at 10501 Gravois Road in south St. Louis County. Grant's Farm is home to hundreds of animals from around the world including elephants, lemurs, tropical birds and giant tortoises. It's also the local home to the famed Budweiser Clydesdales.

During the summer, Grant's Farm is open every day except Monday. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Regular admission is free, but there is a parking fee of $12 for cars and trucks, and $30 for buses and RVs.

Family Flicks Nights is just one of the many things to do in St. Louis during the summer.
