Emma Sloley is a former writer with TripSavvy. She is a New York-based freelance travel writer who has written about Mexico for many U.S. and international publications. She and her husband own a home in Merida, on the Yucatan Peninsula.

Emma has been writing about travel for over 10 years. She has traveled the globe on assignment for magazines such as Town & Country, Travel + Leisure, Gourmet Traveller, and Harper's Bazaar Australia. A Mexico aficionado, she's never happier than when exploring the country's fascinating colonial cities and beautiful beaches.


Emma earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Monash University in Australia.
