Experience

Elizabeth went on her first trip—Disneyworld—when she was 4 years old and has been hooked on travel ever since. Growing up, she and her family traveled all over North America and the Caribbean, from hiking the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee to relaxing on the beaches of Nassau. When she was in college, she spent one summer abroad, where she studied Italian and Art Appreciation in Florence and explored the rest of Italy every chance she could.

After graduating from college, Elizabeth moved to London to get her master’s in publishing. During the course of her study, she held internships with several publishers, including HarperCollins Children’s Books and Wallpaper* magazine.

Elizabeth completed graduate school in the fall of 2015 and moved back to the U.S. soon after. She worked in book publishing for one year before moving to Travel + Leisure, where she wrote about travel-related news, tips, and quirky destinations. Elizabeth is currently the associate editor at TripSavvy and is always looking forward to her next trip.
