Almost every local church has some variety of egg hunt, but the bigger events around the area that draw huge crowds include Eggstravaganzas featuring carnival rides, fun games, and giant egg hunts for kids of all ages.

In 2018, events usually take place over Easter weekend from Good Friday, March 30 through Easter Sunday, April 1; however, several events will also take place in the weeks leading up to Easter, especially the weekend before on March 24 to 25.
