Don your bonnet, bite into that chocolate bunny ear, and, armed with a basket, head out for one these "eggs-cellent" Easter egg hunts in NYC. The thrill of setting out on an egg hunt, in search of those little treat-filled treasures, is surely one of the holiday's greatest pastimes. Manhattan has got kids covered this season, boasting several egg hunt events that even offer face painting, games, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and more. We've also turned up a 21st-century take on the traditional Easter egg hunt that caters to kid-at-heart adults, too. However you decide to get your egg hunt fix this Easter, happy hunting!

Full Bunny Contact
Where: The Clemente, 107 Suffolk St. btwn Rivington & Delancey sts.
When: Tuesday, March 22–Sunday, March 27, 2016
This quirky take on the Easter egg hunt is so far out there, you might just want to leave the kiddies at home and keep all the twisted fun to yourself (the event organizers recommend it for ages 16 and up, though special family hours are posted, too). The headlining Full Bunny Contact event mixes games, special events (like a "Sumo Bunny Wrestling Hour" and a "Bunny Beauty Pageant"), live DJs, food stands, and a bar, with an egg hunt that's something like a cage fight—participants will be put in a caged-in field to try and collect eggs while three massive Easter bunnies do their best to guard the eggs and thwart your best attempts. (No wonder, since the eggs are filled with prizes, including cash.) The event, brainchild of Timothy Haskell (behind NYC's super-scary Nightmare Haunted House), guarantees that you've never experienced Easter quite... like this before. Admission tickets cost $5–$25. fullbunnycontact.com
