Check out these Lake Tahoe Easter Egg Hunts and other Easter activities for children and families. The Easter Bunny will be a Snow Bunny at many of these Easter egg hunts and events. If you will be staying close to town, there are lots of Reno and Sparks Easter Egg Hunts.

Saturday, April 19

Spring Eggstravaganza Community Egg Hunt at Incline Beach - Come to Incline Beach for the free Spring Eggstravaganza Community Egg Hunt. Ages infant to 11 years old are invited to hunt. Arrive at 10:30 a.m. to have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The hunt begins at 11 a.m. To volunteer, donate or for more information, call (775) 832-1310.

Easter Sunday, April 20

Easter Kids Hunt at Mt. Rose - Starting at 11 a.m., Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe will be hosting an Easter egg hunt for kids of various ages - 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12. Lift ticket required. For more information, call Mt. Rose at (775) 849-0704.

On-Mountain Easter Egg Hunt at Squaw Valley - The annual Easter Egg Hunt at Squaw Valley USA starts on Sunday when the lifts open. You hunt for colored Easter eggs all over the mountain. For more information, call (800) 403-0206 or (530) 452-4331.

On-Mountain Easter Egg Hunt & Kids' Easter Egg Hunt at Alpine Meadows - Alpine Meadows guests will have the chance to comb the entire mountain for hundreds of eggs hidden across all of Alpine's 2400 acres.

This all-day hunt will begin when the lifts start moving at 9 a.m., and last until 4 p.m.

Kids 7 and under will be able to join the Easter Egg Hunt taking place at the Kids Camp Magic Carpet. Children 8 to 13 can participate in the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:15 a.m. at the Magic Carpet located off of Subway Chair.



The Beacon & Eggs contest combines an Easter egg hunt with an avalanche beacon search practice session. Avalanche beacons will be buried in a one-acre area and competitors will search for the buried backpack using their beacons in "search" mode. Competitors work individually or in teams of up to four people, sharing the prizes for recovering the beacon. Competitors redeem a found beacon for prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt & PEEPS Diorama Contest at Northstar - Northstar California will have an Easter Egg Hunt and other festivities at the Village at Northstar starting at 10:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be hopping around for photo ops and there will be a scavenger hunt and live music. Look for eggs containing a variety of prizes. At 4:45 p.m., the Easter Bunny and Northstar Ski & Snowboard School mascot Ripperoo will lead a parade through the Village. Easter Eggstravaganza at Tahoe Donner - The Easter Bunny will arrive at The Lodge Restaurand & Pub at Tahoe Donner near Truckee at 11:30, with egg hunting beginning at 12 noon. The Easter egg hunt will be divided into various age groups. You might get lucky and find a special golden egg. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Lodge Restaurant & Pub, enjoy an Easter brunch buffet at $39 for adults and $16 for kids.

Kids Easter Egg Hunt at Sugar Bowl - Come to Sugar Bowl on Easter morning at 9:30 a.m. on Nob Hill for the annual Kids Easter Egg Hunt. This event is open to all ability levels. Call (530) 426-6721 for more information.
