Quiet Caribbean Island of Saba is Perfect for Quiet, Sun-Drenched Getaways

Saba is a beautiful Dutch island in the northeastern Caribbean that is perfect for scuba diving, hiking, admiring nature, or a romantic honeymoon. Saba is small and relatively unknown. Small cruise ships sometimes visit Saba, and cruisers visiting St. Maarten or St. Barths on larger ships can take a day trip to the island to experience a different part of the Caribbean.

Saba is only five square miles in size and is located 28 miles south of St. Maarten. Statia, St. Maarten, and Saba form the Windward Islands of the Dutch Caribbean which is part of the Dutch kingdom.

Saba is nicknamed the "Unspoiled Queen" because of its unspoiled tropical beauty. Saba is mountainous and the tallest peak rises 2,864 feet above sea level and is covered by a dense rain forest.

Saba is a mountainous island of the Caribbean, located about 28 miles from its sister island of St. Maarten.

Willard's of Saba is perched high on a mountaintop 2000 feet above sea level. On a clear day, five other islands are visible from Willard's of Saba.

Willard's of Saba is a small luxury hotel with spectacular views of the Caribbean, Atlantic, and the surrounding area. We visited Saba from the wonderful SeaDream I, and this small hotel would appeal to the same clientele. If you are looking for a cliffside room with lots of romance, Willard's of Saba might be a perfect match.
