The Lakeview

Open 24 hours, seven days a week, this Toronto institution on Dundas West has a massive menu of diner favourites and comfort foods and quite a few drink deals worth noting. Order up a $3 mimosa or traditional ceasar every day, a $4 daily pint special or spend $2 for a 7 oz glass of draught beer.

Insomnia Café

Located in the Annex this long-time favourite among students and anyone looking for a casual spot to meet friends has some good drink deals. Get $5 mimosas every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., $5 martinis (and $6 premium martinis) Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and $4 domestic draft and rail liquor every night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Pour House Irish Pub

Dupont and Bathurst is where you’ll find the Pour House Irish Pub, a warm and friendly spot with various nooks and crannies to relax in. Like many pubs in the city, there are a few good deals here on drinks as well as food. Monday get $4 mixed drinks and $10 pizzas, $5 pints of any beer in the Keith’s family on Thursday and it's $6 for any Irish pints from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday. If you’re here on a weekend ceasars are $3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fynn’s of Temple Bar

Another Irish bar worth checking out for weekly drink specials, Fynn’s of Temple Bar is a cozy spot on King West. Featured bottles of wine are half price from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, pints of Foundry Cider are $5 all day Tuesday, pints of anything from Alexander Keith’s family of beers are $4 all day Wednesday, glasses of feature wine, martinis and cocktails are $6 on Thursday, Friday get $3 domestic pints from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and sip on $4 mimosas and ceasars from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.


Low-key, pocket-friendly Nirvana on College St. has a different drink special for every day of the week. Martinis as $5.95 on Monday, cocktails are $4.50 Tuesday (or $5.95 for a double), bottles of domestic beer are $3.25 on Wednesday (or $3.75 for premium), bar rail shots are $4 for a  single and $5.50 for a double on Thursday, Friday and Saturday select shooters are $3.75 and Sunday gets you a pint for $4.75.

The Raq

The Raq on Queen West has several food and drink deals throughout the week to take advantage of while you’re playing pool on one of the bar’s eight pool tables. Enjoy half price pool Tuesdays and Wednesday along with $3.50 domestic pints (Tuesday) and $4.50 bar rail (Wednesday), Thursday it’s just $5 for Budweiser Crown, sangria and various cocktails, Friday select beers are priced at $6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday ceasars and margaritas are priced at $4 and $5 respectively.

Paupers Pub

Paupers has been a fixture in the Annex for almost 30 years and the multi-level space has some good deals when it comes to booze with specials changing with the day of the week. Some offers you might want to check out include $6 martinis on Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., $5 premium bottles of beer on Tuesday and $4 premium drinks on Thursday.
