If you purchased a living Christmas tree in a container, and you don't intend to plant it on your own property, you may donate it to a local park around Phoenix so that everyone can enjoy it for years to come.

Here are the specifics relating to donating living trees. Fresh cut trees are not accepted at these sites and need to be disposed of properly.

If you don't live in one of these cities, contact your own city's Public Works, Recycling, or Solid Waste Department. They can tell you if they accept potted Christmas trees for donation and re-planting.
