Walt Disney World's Saratoga Springs Resort, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is one of the places you can stay when visiting Epcot Center and other Walt Disney World Resort attractions. The resort is 1.7 miles from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park and 5 miles from the Epcot Center theme park.

Walt Disney World

The huge Walt Disney World complex is situated on 30,000 acres, with about 7,000 acres of it developed into four theme parks: Magic KingdomEpcotDisney/MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom; a sports complex, the resort hotels, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and activities. The Walt Disney World Saratoga Springs Resort is part of this complex and is linked by transportation to the various parks and attractions.

Saratoga Springs Resort

This Disney resort was inspired by historic Saratoga Springs, a late-1800s New York vacation area known for its spas and horse racing. The sprawling property, a Disney Vacation Club resort, has swimming pools with water slides, a golf course, and a Disney signature spa. The Victorian-style Resort hotel is on Lake Buena Vista. In addition to the hotel rooms, there are multi-bedroom villas on the property, some of them in a beautiful wooded setting—these are the Treehouse Villas.

Treehouse Villas

This complex of 60 three-bedroom villas is near the Grandstand section of Saratoga Springs Resort near the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and has a separate entrance off Disney Vacation Club Way.

The 1,074-square foot villas are built on stilts about 10 feet off the ground and are surrounded by woods so you'll feel like you are in the forest. The octagon-shaped villas have a living space, dining area, and kitchen as well as three bedrooms and two baths and can sleep up to nine people (if some of them are children). Rates start at $859 per night.

The Treehouse Villas are isolated from the rest of the resort, and that is a plus, so you'll enjoy cooking "at home"—villas have a full kitchen and a bar-b-que on their large wooden deck. When you do go out, it's a short jaunt to the restaurants. Restaurants at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort are closest. Downtown Disney also offers a number of dining options.

There are a small pool and some walking trails leading to the main resort grounds where villa residents can use all the amenities. Or, take the complimentary bus which has two dedicated bus stops at the villas.
