    Get a Birthday Badge

Pick up a free "It's My Birthday" badge at City Hall in the Magic Kingdom. You can also get a badge when you check into your resort and at select guest service locations. A birthday badge is free and lets everyone know you are celebrating your big day. Don't be surprised to have cast members and other guests wish you a happy birthday by name as you wander through Disney World.

Tip: Children visiting on a birthday and wearing a badge may be more likely to be chosen to perform or do something special during a show in one of the theme parks.

    Get Serenaded

Be sure to let the person at the podium know about the birthday when you check in at a table service restaurant. Visit a location in World Showcase, and you'll be serenaded in another language.

Many, but not all Disney table service locations offer a free cupcake or dessert along with the birthday song. Visit Les Chefs de France to hear "Happy Birthday" in French and receive a free dessert; guests having a birthday meal at the Liberty Tree Tavern or Coral Reef can expect a sweet surprise with their song as well.

    Order a Birthday Portrait

Stop by one of the Disney Deluxe resorts and have a birthday portrait taken by a professional Photopass photographer. The resort locations are inside and set up to do more formal portrait sittings of individuals or the entire family. There is no sitting fee, and you can order portraits at the location or after you go home.

Tip: Stop by for a portrait on a day where you are already getting dressed up for dinner at a Disney resort or wear your best Disney garb to one of the parks and pose in front of an iconic Disney landmark.
