There are many Disney restaurants with romantic ambiance, but some of the highest rated dining options include:

    • Breathtaking views equaled only by the amazing food is what you'll find at the California Grill, perched atop the Contemporary Resort. If you plan your meal accordingly, you will get a chance to see Disney's famous fireworks right from your table.
    • For an extra special experience, book a table at the AAA Five Diamond awarded restaurant, Victoria & Albert's, at the Grand Floridian. You'll enjoy a tasting menu fit for royalty in a formal and elegant atmosphere. While dining at Disney doesn't come cheap, it should be noted that this is incredibly expensive and can run diners well over $500, not including alcoholic beverages, taxes, or tips.
    • For the outdoorsy couple, you may want to dine at Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Oustanding dishes inspired by the Pacific Northwest are offered in a charming and rustic setting.

Disney World has many private spots that are ideal for a once-in-a-lifetime event. If you'd like to keep your proposal (semi) private, check out the quiet garden spots in France and the United Kingdom, the back alleys of Morocco, or the towering falls of Canada when you visit Epcot's World Showcase.

Or, you can look for secluded gazebos tucked away near the Pangani Trail or choose one of the many scenic spots under the Tree of Life in the Animal Kingdom.

Even the bustling Hollywood Studios has a few private spots if you arrive early in the day (avoid the Pixar Place area, as it is busy even at opening).

Proposing in the Magic Kingdom is popular, but can also be tough to pull off, so you may want to consider booking the Magical Proposal Packages at Cinderella's Royal Table. This all-inclusive dinner at features a special Cinderella-inspired chocolate slipper Dessert, an engraved glass slipper that doubles as a ring holder, and naturally, celebratory champagne.

Pick up a bottle of wine at one of the countries of World Showcase. While Italy and France both offer wonderful selections (and tastings as well), don't overlook the Rieslings of Germany or delicate Plum Wines of Japan.

Take the monorail back to the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, or Polynesian and cuddle up in a beachside cabana and take in the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. If you're not staying beachside, you can still find a cozy nook at just about any Disney resort, sans fireworks.

You can also purchase beer or wine from your resort's sundries shop, through room service, or by visiting a local liquor store.

Forget fighting for a reservation, waiting in line, or squeezing your way through the crowds. If you truly want to relax with your sweetie, skip going out and order room service instead. In many cases, the food you order via room service is from one of the resort restaurants anyway, if you are staying at a Deluxe Disney resort or at a Moderate resort.

If you will be celebrating a special occasion, mention it when placing your order, and especially when making your hotel reservation. You may find a special surprise awaiting you when you arrive in your room.
