Ariel Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Dress by Alfred Angelo
As the Disney princess craze swept the nation's little girls, adults got caught up in the buzz wanting their fairy tale wedding dress just like Ariel, Belle, or Snow White. And, wedding dress designer Alfred Angelo delivered on it, with the Disney Princess Wedding Dresses line in 2007 and the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings line in 2010.
As of 2017, when the designer suddenly filed for bankruptcy, the designer went out of businesses, and the dresses were no more. Today the dresses can only be found sporadically in second-hand stores and auction sites.
For brides who grew up with Disney, love the movies and the parks, the cruises and the shops, wearing a Disney princess wedding gown enabled them to feel as if they were the main character in their very own magical fantasy.
The 2010 collection of dresses from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings line by Alfred Angelo included:
- Sleeping Beauty
- Snow White
While these wedding dresses may have been conceived for brides getting married at Disney-planned destination weddings, called Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, they, of course, could be worn by brides anywhere.

Disney understands that as much as you may love children, there are times, especially on your honeymoon, when you simply do not want to see or hear them.
