The first collection of Disney Princess Wedding Dresses debuted in 2007. The official name of the next Disney princess collection was Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo, which was released in 2010. They were available at select bridal boutiques in the US and internationally as well as in Alfred Angelo Signature stores. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and is no longer in business, Today the dresses can only be found sporadically in second-hand stores and auction sites.

For brides who grew up with Disney, love the movies and the parks, the cruises and the shops, wearing a Disney princess wedding gown enabled them to feel as if they were the main character in their very own magical fantasy.
