Connecticut Attraction Features Large as Life Dinosaurs

Read my review of The Dinosaur Place at Nature's Art in Oakdale, Connecticut, and you'll understand that while kids love the place, it gives parents an acute case of sticker shock. Still, once you get past shelling out $79.96 for a family of four to walk the Dino Trails in the summer months (as of 2013), you will definitely find the experience engaging and memorable.

In these photos, I'll show you the variety of indoor and outdoor activities families can enjoy at The Dinosaur Place. The highlight is, of course, meeting life-sized dinosaurs face-to-face... or, in many cases... face to scaly tree-trunk of a leg. These dinosaur sculptures have been crafted with fascinating attention to detail, and signage throughout the park-like 50 acres of walking trails and water features provides fascinating insight into these extinct giants. If you're on a budget, the Dino Trails are the complex's one must-see, particularly if...MORE your household includes little dinosaur fans.
