As a special thank you, some DFW area restaurants are offering free meals to DFW veterans this Veteran's Day. Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11 each year. However, if November 11 falls on a Sunday, then Veteran's Day is observed on the following Monday.
Be sure to bring proof of your military service when visiting a restaurant for your free or specially priced meal.

To show Norma’s Cafe’s appreciation and respect for all who have served our country, the Cafe is celebrating Veteran’s Day by offering its annual FREE BREAKFAST to all veterans and current military members on Nov. 11, as well as donating proceeds from sales of the Norma’s Cafe Commemorative Cup to military organization, Defenders of Freedom.
All day on Veteran’s Day, Norma’s Cafe will offer a complimentary breakfast from the special Veteran’s Day Menu insert, including nothing short of a hearty spread of eggs, omelets, pancakes, breakfast tacos and more.
In addition, throughout the month of November, guests who purchase a beverage will receive their drink in the Norma’s Cafe Commemorative Cup, adorned with camouflage and an American Flag to show support to our troops. A portion of proceeds from all beverages sold in the commemorative cup at Norma’s Cafe will support Defenders of Freedom and its efforts to help veterans returning from duty transition to civilian life. As a side note, the restaurant will also be running its annual postcard writing campaign for the troops during the month of November, where guests have the opportunity to write handwritten notes to troops overseas who are unable to be home for the holidays. Postcards are mailed out the beginning of December.
