The Body Zone is a  gay men's health club, and one of Detroit's most popular spots for gay cruising, sex, and exercise. Located at 1617 East McNichols Road (313-366-9663), the Body Zone is just east of the Woodward Corridor and close by the popular gay bar Menjo's), in the Highland Park section of Detroit. It's about a 10–15-minute drive north of downtown Detroit via I-75, and about the same distance south of gay-popular communities like Royal Oak and Ferndale.

The Body Zone (or the BZ as it sometimes called) is one of two gay saunas in Michigan, the other being the Diplomat Health Club, which is on the western side of the state in Grand Rapids.

Body Zone has a full menu of amenities typical of gay bathhouses —a good-sized workout area with exercise equipment, rooms with televisions featuring situation comedies or gay pornography, locker rooms with 100 lockers, and an open shower with a camera. There is a game area with pool table, two video lounges, a steam room, a hot tub, and a hex tanning room. The huge sauna was completely renovated in 2017 and is open 24 hours every day. Various special events such as blackout parties, leather nights, bear gatherings, and college nights are held throughout the year.

BZ is open 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday. There are more than 75 rooms with beds available for 8-hour rental periods. The rooms come in a variety of options, from small to VIP. The security to get in is quite strict, and memberships are available, including guest memberships for out-of-staters. Overall, the facility is clean and well-maintained. The Body Zone is a space that is safe and quite popular for men of all shapes, ages (you must be at least 18), and ethnicities.
