Signature Treatment: Created by the lead therapist and resident Aromatherapy expert, The Midtown Massage is a unique full-body treatment, featuring locally made Decatur-based Mama Lavender Rosemary products. Elongate and stretch sore muscles, followed by a refreshing foot scrub and reflexology and a calming scalp massage. (80 minutes at $245). 

Variety of Treatments Offered:

Their seasonal treatments draw on fresh ingredients, like honey, pears, mint, and pomegranate, much of which comes from the hotel's rooftop garden. The spa is also one of only a handful in town that offers the hi-tech Hydrafacial. 

Extra Amenities: Expect a eucalyptus steam room and dry cedar sauna in separate men's and ladies locker rooms, plus a relaxation lounge equipped with Richi tea and locally-sourced snacks, an indoor saline lap pool with jacuzzi and outdoor sun terrace, and a full fitness center featuring Technogym and Precor equipment. Signature Treatment: The Triple Oxygen Facial made bliss famous for good reason. It's 75 minutes and includes a targeted peel, an energizing enzyme pack and three forms of skin-brightening oxygen, including a facial mask and O2 spray ($170).

They use their very own bliss branded products in most services and they are available for retail as well. Some of their best-known services are The blissage 75 (full body massage, $160), the "heel-lalujah" pedicure (60 minutes at $70), and The Ginger Rub (105 minutes at $225 or 135 minutes at $285), a scrub and wrap using real ginger followed by a therapeutic massage.

Your technician then allows you to choose your aromatherapy scent, so the entire experience is suited just to your liking. This spa has separate male and female locker rooms with relaxation and lounge areas, steam, sauna and vitality pools. The female locker room also has an outdoor terrace for spa-goers who want to order lunch from their spa menu poolside.

Size of Spa: This indie spa and salon clocks in at just over 1,000 square feet, including one facial room, one massage room, and three hair stations.

Signature Treatment: Amy Leavell Bransford, owner, and esthetician, is the only certified Hauschka esthetician in the state, so go for The Dr. Hauschka Classic Facial. In fact, Bransford has even visited the German farm where Dr. Hauschka grows their own biodynamic and organic ingredients. Aviary was actually the first boutique Atlanta salon and spa to offer chemically-conscious services throughout their products. They are also tightly connected with the local and global farming community.

Variety of Treatments Offered: Organic, non-toxic treatments are the name of the game here, though that doesn't mean treatments are short on results. See the Luminary Facial, a hi-tech oxygen facial beloved by celebs for its glow-inducing properties and wrinkle reduction, for proof. Facials at Aviary start at $95, massages are $85 for 60 minutes and hair services start at $65 for a women’s cut.

Extra Amenities: Though not as equipped as the large hotel spas, this charming and rustic spa is cozy and chockfull of high-quality products and ingredients. Locally, Aviary hosts a weekly CSA through local Red Earth Farms. Bransford also serves on the board of the Community Farmers Markets.

Signature Treatment: The Signature Spa Day, which combines the Organic Signature Massage, Signature Facial, and the Seaweed Exfoliating Treatment, into one package offering the best bang for your buck ($230).

Variety of Treatments Offered: Everything from full-body treatments (starting at $65), facials (starting at $100 at 60 minutes), nail services (starting at $20), massages (starting at $20), varying packages (starting at $105), and waxing services.

Extra Amenities: Natural Body Spa and Shop is committed to their "Green Spa Pledge," offering natural services and organic products to their clients. Plus, the spas don't feel like chains. Their services are more affordable, too.

Signature Treatment: You've seen it in the movies, and H-Massage has it! They are known for their back-walking procedure, called the Thai massage, which involves stretching and acupressure. For or a super affordable alternative, request a foot massage up front—it's just $30 for an hour.

Add a Vichy shower (starting at $90 for 50 minutes or $105 with Vichy addition) for ultra luxury. 

Variety of Treatments Offered: The Spa at Château Èlan offers everything from massage therapy (starting at $90 for 50 minutes), to facials (starting at $90 for 55 minutes), to body wraps and treatments (starting at $90 for 50 minutes) and nail services (starting at about $50).

Signature Treatment: Sugar Treats, their mid-priced basic package, offers a luxurious chocolate bath, soufflé scrub and Bavarian cream moisturizer ($19 manicure, $30 pedicure, $49 both).  

Variety of Treatments Offered: Up the ante on your standard pedicure at Polished, where you'll find a wide variety of manicures, pedicures, hand and feet treatments (starting as low as $14 for a quick, basic manicure), in addition to callus treatments ($8), hot stone massages ($25 for 20 minutes), minx and gel nails (starting at $45), and waxing and threading (starting at $7). 

Extra Amenities: Polished welcomes spa parties and large groups (you can bring in your own decorations, music, and food). Signature Treatment: Sweet Peach is the first studio in Georgia to offer sugaring, a less intense alternative to waxing. Thus, Sweet Peach's whole approach to hair removal is arguably their signature treatment--sugaring is an ancient, all-natural practice with no preservatives or uncomfortable resin. 

Variety of Treatments Offered: At Sweet Peach, there are few limits to the body parts you can make hairless. For the sugaring procedure, everything from eyebrow, full face, full body, abs, buttock, bikini, Brazilian and even hands—for both men and women. Sugaring services range from $10 (hands, feet, lip, ears) to $190 (full body). Waxing offers a similar variety of options, and the prices range from $5 (lip) to $100 (men's full body). 

Extra Amenities: Aside from sugaring and waxing, Sweet Peach offers all-natural spray tanning and a line of products ranging from candles to serums to soaps. And perhaps one of our favorite perks is the in-room TVs, which play Sex and the City to distract you from all the hair pulling.

Size of Spa: Raw boasts two locations, Raw Midtown and Raw South, both of which offer plenty of room to accommodate multiple guests at once.

Signature Treatment: The Original Bronzing Session, a full-body application of Raw Studio's original tanning formula ($35).

Variety of Treatments Offered: One of the only all-natural, organic spray tanning salons in Atlanta, Raw offers a variety of tanning packages without any cancer scares. In fact, owner and founder  Tiffany Terranova (who began the studio out of her home) survived melanoma at 27, before she opened Raw. Customizable services include prep ($10), full-body bronzing, half-body bronzing ($18), rapid service for those who need a quick shower ($45) and various packages, all completed by a real human instead of a machine for perfect precision and the most natural looking glow. 

Extra Amenities: If the all-natural tanning formula, individual approach to each client and personalized makeup services aren't enough, Raw also offers clothes within their locations if you're in the mood to shop around. The studio also offers "Raw Glam" makeup services ranging from lash extensions (starting at $175 for application) to full face makeup ($58), to bridal services ($135, $50 each for bridal party), to even makeup lessons ($150).
