David Sokol entered journalism in 1999, while still studying at Yale University. Since then, he has written for the Advocate and for "The Rainbow Pilgrimage," the NYC & Company tourism initiative celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. His design writing has been published by Interior Design, Domino, and Surface magazines. Sokol also wrote three articles for TripSavvy, on topics ranging from volunteer opportunities to support the New York City LGBT community to gay New Year’s Eve parties in New York City.
