Haunted Houses are a whole lot of scary fun. Make the best out of this Halloween season and take advantage of all the holiday has to offer. Festival of Souls enters its very first year in 2012 in this location. There are two separate attractions to satisfy both those who want a frightful adventure and those who want to bring their entire families:
Demon Mansion - 8,000 square foot haunted house takes you trough a maze of 17 creepy rooms, frightful monsters and surprises around every corner.
Zombie Paintball Safari - Journey one mile through a 50,000 square foot apocalyptic city full of zombies, where you will be given paintball guns to take aim at them.
Children under 10 not permitted on Zombie Safari.
In addition to these two attractions, there are special events on October 27 & 31, Halloween night. Resident Evil DJ, also known as DJ Maximus 3000 will be on hand to get visitors dancing. Music includes mashups of rock, house, classic hip-hop, disco, ‘80s synth pop, Top 40 and more. Also on Halloween night, The Village at Gulfstream is providing a safe Trick-or-Treating Event.

Fright Nights at The South Florida Fairgrounds is in it's 11th season and is the biggest haunted event in Broward and Palm Beach. This venue offers five haunted houses including:
The Manor - Haunted by the tortured souls of a family slaying.
Carnival of Creeps - Tattered tents, creepy clowns and shadowy circus figures.
Santa's Workshop - Demented Santa, hoofed beasts and tortured elves.
The Creature - Get trapped inside a ginormous twisted creature.
Killshot - Shoot your way (paintball) through an endless maze of zombies.
In previous years there were designated scare zones in the haunted houses. Now scares from creepy characters come from anywhere and everywhere with no warning! In addition to the houses, there are also 13 thrill rides, many of which are brand new, live entertainment, carnival fun and great food and drink.

The Cruz Haunted House is an amateur, family-friendly haunted house and maze with scare zones for everybody to enjoy. It is located inside the home of the owners. Initially it started as a way to entertain friends and family, but after 16 years it was such a success that it grew into a popular community event. Be sure to wear a costume and be prepared for a night of fun with your family, friends and neighbors.

X Scream Halloween at G-Star Motion Picture Studios

The Travel Channel named X-Scream Halloween one of the Scariest Places in the US in 2009. Today this 88,000 square-foot venue offers haunted attractions, outdoor fright zones, an exclusive Flashlight Tour, live entertainment, carnival games, food and more. The attractions include:
Werehouse - Evil artifacts and abnormal creatures will haunt you.
Flashlight Tour - On Halloween only, with reservations and special ticket purchase $7. Groups of 6 can tour the Werehouse with the only light coming from their flashlight.
Colonel Frederick's Festival of Freaks - Colonel the Kollector will thrill and amaze you with his rare collections and creepy behaviors.
Short Stalks Haunted Maze - Corn maze with scary scarecrow and more. For kids 48 inches and smaller.
